These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the services provided by KP Aviation Services, LLC ("KP Aviation," "we," "our," or "us"), including our aircraft maintenance and inspection services and our SMS text message notification program.
By doing business with KP Aviation Services and providing your cell phone number for SMS notifications, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please inform our staff and we will not enroll you in the SMS program.

Program Name: KP Aviation Aircraft Status Notifications
Program Description: KP Aviation Services operates a transactional SMS text message notification program that sends real-time status updates to aircraft owners and operators regarding the progress of their aircraft's maintenance, inspection, or repair at our facility. This program is designed to keep you informed throughout the service process so you always know the status of your aircraft — similar to how automotive shops send status updates when your vehicle is being serviced.

Sender: All messages are sent from KP Aviation Services via phone number +1 (208) 980-2553. Save this number in your contacts as "KP Aviation" so you recognize our messages.
How to opt in: You are enrolled in the SMS notification program when you provide your cell phone number to KP Aviation Services at aircraft check-in and verbally or in writing consent to receive text message updates. Enrollment occurs through the following steps:
Who may consent: You must be the aircraft owner, registered operator, or an authorized representative of the aircraft owner to consent to receive SMS updates regarding the aircraft. By consenting, you represent that you are authorized to receive communications related to that aircraft.
One number per aircraft: We send SMS updates to one cell phone number per aircraft service order. If you would like updates sent to a different number, please notify our staff at check-in.
Re-enrollment: If you have previously opted out and wish to resume receiving SMS updates, reply START to any message from our number, or contact us at (208) 557-3709 to update your preferences for your next service visit.
Message frequency varies depending on the type and complexity of service your aircraft is receiving. The following table provides general guidance on expected message volume:

Contact your mobile carrier if you are unsure about your messaging plan's rates. KP Aviation Services is not responsible for any charges your carrier may assess in connection with this program.
Supported carriers include but are not limited to: AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, Boost Mobile, Cricket Wireless, US Cellular, Metro by T-Mobile, and other US wireless carriers.
Additional opt-out methods:
Effect of opting out: Once you opt out, you will no longer receive SMS updates about your aircraft's service status. You may still check your aircraft's status at any time by calling us at (208) 557-3709 or visiting our online tracking portal and entering your phone number. Opting out does not affect any ongoing or scheduled service.
Processing time: Opt-out requests submitted via STOP reply are processed immediately. Opt-out requests submitted by phone or email are processed within one business day.

KP Aviation Services provides the SMS notification program as a courtesy service to keep you informed about your aircraft. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
Nothing in these Terms limits KP Aviation Services' liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including liability for aviation services performed under FAA regulations.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Idaho, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Bonneville County, Idaho.
Our SMS notification program also complies with applicable federal law, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and regulations promulgated by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), as well as guidelines established by the Cellular Telecommunications Industry Association (CTIA).
