KP Aviation Services, LLC ("KP Aviation," "we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting the privacy of our customers. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our aircraft status tracking service, including our SMS text message notification program.

When you bring your aircraft to KP Aviation Services for maintenance, inspection, or repair, we collect the following information:

We collect this information directly from you or your authorized representative when you check in your aircraft at our facility. We do not collect information through cookies, tracking technologies, or third-party data sources for the purpose of our SMS notification program.

SMS Messaging Program
Program Description: KP Aviation Services operates an SMS text message notification program that sends you real-time status updates about your aircraft's maintenance or inspection progress. This is a transactional messaging program — we only send messages related to your specific aircraft and active service order.

Message frequency: Message frequency varies depending on the complexity of your service. A typical annual inspection may generate 3–6 messages over the course of the service. You will never receive marketing or promotional messages through this program.

Message and data rates may apply. Standard messaging rates from your mobile carrier apply to messages you receive from us. KP Aviation Services does not charge any fee for this notification service.

Consent: By providing your cell phone number to KP Aviation Services at check-in and agreeing to receive SMS updates, you consent to receive transactional text messages related to your aircraft service. Consent is not a condition of receiving service from us — you may opt out at any time (see Section 6).

Messaging Provider: Our SMS messages are delivered through Twilio, Inc., a third-party messaging service. Twilio processes your phone number solely to deliver messages on our behalf and is bound by their own privacy policy available at twilio.com/legal/privacy.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect solely for the following purposes:

After the applicable retention period, your personal information is securely deleted from our systems. Aircraft maintenance records required by the FAA may be retained longer to comply with regulatory requirements.

Your Rights & SMS Opt-Out
To stop receiving SMS messages at any time: Reply STOP to any message we send you. You will receive one final confirmation message and no further messages will be sent. You may also call us at (208) 557-3709 or email us to opt out.

Additional SMS commands:

Opting out of SMS notifications will not affect your ability to receive service from KP Aviation Services. You may still check the status of your aircraft by calling us directly at (208) 557-3709 or visiting our online status portal.

While we take reasonable precautions, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your information. In the event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

Our services are intended for adults who own or operate aircraft. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of 18. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a minor, please contact us immediately and we will promptly delete such information.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. When we make material changes, we will:
