We are proud to announce that KP Aviation Services, LLC has officially received approval from the U.S. Department of Labor and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs for our new 30-month Registered Apprenticeship Program for Aircraft Maintenance Technicians.
This comprehensive, earn-while-you-learn program combines structured on-the-job training with related technical instruction, preparing apprentices for a rewarding career in aviation maintenance while meeting the highest industry and federal standards.

Program Highlights

Duration: 30 months (approximately 5,000 hours of on-the-job training + related classroom instruction)

Paid employment from day one with progressive wage increases

Hands-on experience maintaining and repairing General Aviation aircraft and components

Mentorship from experienced FAA-certificated technicians

Industry-recognized credential upon completion: Journeyworker status as an Aircraft Maintenance Technician

What are the requirements? 

> If you are in highschool or a recent graduate (1 year or less ago), you must currently have or had a GPA of 3.7 or higher

> Be at least 18 years old, and have your own source of transportation. 
 

>Honesty, integrity, punctuality, and attention to detail are incredibly important to your success in this program!
 

>Be willing to learn, be willing to work, and be willing to get dirty!
 

>Prior military aviation mechanics who didn't receive their A&P prior to their EAS are encouraged to join the program! 

 

>This is a paid apprenticeship, and we will provide you with the resources and experience to obtain your FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate!
