About us

KP Aviation Services, LLC was founded in 2024 to provide an on-demand, customized maintenance experience to the aviation customers of eastern Idaho, western Wyoming, and southern Montana. Based in Idaho Falls, KP Aviation Services will come to your hangar and provide highly specialized maintenance on your single or twin piston, turboprop, or even corporate jet and helicopter. 

KP Aviation Services was founded and operated by me (Micah) and my wife, Brianna. I have a strong military aviation maintenance background working on the B-2 Spirit Stealth Bomber, F-15 Eagle, and the MV-22 Osprey. After completing my military service, I obtained my FAA A&P certification in 2020. In that time, I have gained experience on many corporate jets including the Cessna Citation family. I also have extensive experience with many piston aircraft models. Additionally, I obtained my airframe maintenance certification from Airbus Helicopters for the H125/ASTAR helicopter. In November 2023, I obtained my FAA Inspection Authorization (IA) certificate allowing me to sign-off and complete major alterations, and annual inspections.

Brianna, my wife, is primarily in charge of scheduling, invoicing and billing. She works in the background making everything in the front move like clockwork. Brianna has a strong background in childcare and has been in multiple scheduling roles.
